Head drain vs oil restrictors

Hi guys

I'm in the middle of building my rb25det series 1 for track use. I've purchased a head drain, is it worth putting oil restrictors in? If yes, what size do you think would be best? The motor will be tuned for around 400hp. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

The answer is its not worth putting in the head "drain" but possibly worth putting in the restrictors. Skim through the oil control thread but you will find the info you need in the last 20 or 30 pages.

From my experience the "head drain" acted more like a vent for the crankcase, but that was long ago and I am trying to forget about RB's and oil control.

I still have nightmares about everything being covered in oil.
