If the block has 05U embossed on it then it's a run of the mill rb26. All the same.

If it has 24u its an n1 block. 

You'll find the markings on the exhaust side under the welsch plugs... near cylinder 2.

Not that I am aware of. I don't believe that there is any record of engine numbers for specific chassis. Nor am i aware of changes to the numbers that would indicate the time of build (happy to be proven wrong by the wider community of course).

Do you mind sharing that list?

Also if anyone has another list as well. Just trying to fact check as much as possible.

After a ton of research, I am still having a hard time looking for it and figure others could really use it as well.
