Haha never know, I'll be doing a few special things to it that not many have done in Aus. I picked one up for $300 from melb (23u block) and every cylinder wall was thicker than most RB26 blocks (05u, 24u) that Herman has seen and also hardness as well. He showed me a few blocks that he had there and the difference in thickness, hardness etc Certainly beats paying $6k for a 24u. I believe there will be a billet steel one coming out as well, although best to ask PRP to get an accurate answer. burn4005
You'd be pretty game to be making a main cap out of a dissimilar metal to the block. I'd expect there would be issues/fretting due to thermal expansion coefficients? Alf
The companies making the braces these days wont say at what power/setup you need the brace, they just want your money. A search on SAU reveals this. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/474981-block-brace/page/3/#findComment-7888270 Share on other sites
