Hi guys, I'm wanting to add some carbon fiber canards to the front of my R33 GTR (original series 3 bumper) but don't want to drill holes in case I want to remove them in the future. Do you know if there are any industrial strength double-sided tape or the like to keep them in place but won't ruin the paint on my bumper if I decide to remove them in the future?

I don't like the 4-piece AutoSelect/ACE style ones which extend onto the front indicators and are looking to get the simple two-piece ones like shown below but because they're not specifically made for the R33 GTR bumper there's some gaps in the centre so will need to be apply more tape to fill gaps.

Any experiences here guys? I don't just don't want to drill holes into my bumper.

Sikaflex, or try your luck with some 3m stuff. Any really strong option is going to eventually damage the paint.

Paint is easy to fix, holes mm not so much - considered pricing up a second bar for this? The bar alone shouldn't be too unreasonable?

Thanks for all your replies. I might look at some options as I don’t want to damage my front bar ahd certainly don’t want to get another one as it’s a genuine series 3 GTR front bar.

Thanks again guys.

All r33 gtr front bars are the same. It’s only the lips that determine what series it is so just get a spare bar for when u feel like changing

Thanks mate. I thought the series 3 front indicator slots are a little different too but I stand to be corrected.

Anyway I decided in the end to not install the canards as using double sided tape was tacky and glue would be the same as screwing them on plus it looked a bit showy. I’m a fan of the clean look anyway.

The actual indicator plastic on the passenger side has an open slot from memory now but that’s it
