Misfiring with apexi fc

Hello Family,

Ive put in my new  Apexi FC and have done the timing on the engine via the commander until I order an FC Hako or Datalogit. 

The issue is at high revs around the 15x15 mark on the map trace i get misfire and I cant work out how to resolve this issue. Its always on the same spot so I started messing with the fuel map on the commander.  I dont understand what the numbers are a reference to on the inj map. What does 1.00 reference too? I guess it means 1.00 = 0.00; above 1.00 = more fuel but how much is too much how little is too little? Why do the numbers stop at ~1.4 - they must be referenced to something and I cant find anything on the net.

So basically its misfiring and i want to decrease the fuel because i think its too high ~1.30 which i did but it made little to no difference same as increasing the fuel.. anyone got any ideas?

If you have no idea what you're doing (by the sound of things you don't) take it to a tuner.

How do you know it's over fueling? How do you know it's not a lean misfire? Do you even know the AFRs?

Do you even know if you've scaled the injectors properly?

Don't mean to be blunt, but if you're going the way you're going you're going to grenade your motor.

no tuner in the country im in so i have to do everything like russian roulette

Do you have a wide band at least? If not, will be a very wise investment.

You're better off with a @Toshi re-mapped ECU being sent over to you.

Ive had it dyno tuned in another country but the old ecu popped but i kept the binary file so when i get the hako or datalogit i should be able to bring the tune over but i still want to know about the inj map numbers if anyone knows

Higher number more fuel, lower number less fuel.

Unfortunately those numbers are nearly like arbitrary numbers, it doesn't represent VE or injector timings.

And get a wideband before you go guessing it's misfiring because it's too rich, chances are it's a lean misfire.

I'll also ask the obvious....why do you think the misfire is a result of over/under fuelling and the map?

It could be a few other things as well...

because the fuel is set to the maximum  on those particular cells that it misfires on and when i drop the numbers down a bit, it does make a slight difference, i have no other feedback to go on

Buy a wideband and install it

I changed the oil today and saw the hose from the FPR to the intake manifold had popped off, put it back and it seems to have fixed the issue + a little bit of timing done
