For starters, a stock GTT makes about 170 kilowatts I think which is around the 230 HP mark anyway so you might even achieve your goal of 300 HP with some minor upgrades such as better airfilter, intercooler, exhaust and a good tune so you may not need a bigger turbo upgrade as your goal is fairly low.

Having $4,000 is a good start. But if you’re chasing bigger power,  I suggest you look up some performance workshops and ask them for prices on some turbo combo upgrades but bear in mind you may have to upgrade other things like brakes and will need a tune. There are too many options and opinions so you’re better off talking directly to the people that will do the work for cost estimates.

Try giving Chasers Motorworks, Performance Plus or Advanced Turbo Performance a call if you’re closer to the western suburbs.

Good luck!

Stock Neo is 206 kW at the engine.....therefore about 150 at the wheels.  The most they can be pushed to without risking turbo destruction and/or running out of injector is ~200-210rwkW (and more like a realistic 200rwkW, not an optimistic 210!).  That's well shy of 300HP at the wheels.

Minimum spend is;

Hypergear highflow, ca. $1k

Injectors, ca $600

Fuel pump, ca $300

Z32 AFM, ca $300

Nistune + tune, ca $1200.

But you wouldn't do these things without an exhaust and frontmount.  If you have them already, great, but otherwise you need another couple of thou.  $4k is just a little bit shy of what would be good to have to spend.
