Hello to Sau

looking some info regarding Y34 Rb25DET, I have wired Adaptronic 420D on my car, I know this ecus are quite old but i had it in my garage maybe last 4 or 5 years, and now i dare and start the car, system is old but still engine runs perfect and smooth, But... there is questions regarding gearbox,  first what i didnot liked that i had to cut 1 and 120 degrees wires to CAS, after this tacho is not responding on dash, and second i have no slip and 4wd light on, i drive car today and gearbox works fine anyway it changes gears smooth as before (i didn't tried it yet with aggressive drive condition)

Does anyone uses any type of similar ecus like piggyback? and if there is possibility to change gearbox with manual and fix and have 4WD in working condition?

I can't really understand what you're trying to say, but the RB25 AWD setup in the Y34 should be very similar to AWD C34 Stagea but with Z33/V35 rear suspension.

So the ECU doesn't work? Does the car run?
The Y34 uses the ECU to integrate the dash I think. Completely removing the ECU apparently affects the climate control/aircon/navigation/radio.

Russian forums should have more info on the RB25 models because they're more common there. Australia can't import them yet (or shouldn't be able to...), Might be a few in NZ
