Very pleased to say that I picked up my M35 yesterday!

To do:

Remove turbo-timer

Remove aftermarket boost controller

Install LPG system

Going LPG? Nice! I look forward to the updates.

Why no turbo timer? If its already there is it not worth leaving?

I never had a TT in my cars, I just drove at low revs for the last 5 min of any drive.

Yeah mate, 98 is £1.40 over here, LPG is .60p! As for the TT, I do the same, and usually sit for a min once I've reached my destination, I just don't feel the need for it, and one more thing to cause a fault!

Had a productive afternoon. Removed this junk and sussed out alot of the positioning of all the LPG stuff.

Q. The stock boost gauge... does this get it's info straight from the unit near the throttle body? Or from the ECU? I ask as it is very temperamental and worried if the sender goes to the ECU first it's gunna be giving it bad readings. Or could something else be at fault?

It gets it from the throttle body and is common for them to fail. There is a thread somewhere in how to fix the unit. Possibly PM Scotty and he could help.

Made the first bit of headway towards fitting the LPG system. Today it was the regulators, tomorrow injector rails, if the UK weather holds out!!! A few pics here, more on my Insta....

Also fixed the boost gauge! Now need to workout while the back light for the gauge cluster flickers...

Intake removed, now sussing out where to drill for the LPG injectors. Lots of room in the valley, may mount them right under the intake...

Having had the Forester written off just before Xmas, project LPG has been accelerated!

Had a really productive day yesterday and got all the bits back together, RH injector rail connected and mounted. Running like a dream! And now it's back together , it's officially my daily!
