Waste of space! Didn't the original one have two R35 engines one each end?

OK maybe just one:

No, this is the Juke RS, not the Juke R (which was the GTR in a clown suit).  I'd be sure that for the same money as a GTI (what they're claiming in that shitty article), you're only getting the asthmatic 4banger DI turbo with the boost wound up.

This is just the clown suit, without the GTR parts.

I hear all of you. I'm most consider about why this would be a limited numbers car! Only 250 coming here. Why? What about it is good enough to be limited?

Nismo fanboi syndrome can be quite strong...?

Oh god there’s gonna new threads on here about how people just bought them and want to preserve its Nismo heritage
It'll out value an R32 in no time.

If I wanted something like that, which I don't, the Toyota C-HR would be my pick.

The Juke might have more performance but at least with the C-HR I wouldn't vomit when I looked at it.

It looks like Renault and Mini (BMW) had drunk sex and this was the offspring.

Plus TRD make big plastic exterior stuff if you like brand name plastic.

Actually drove a press car the other week.

You have to take contemporary "Nismo" cars with a grain of salt (apart from the R35, which is an absolute monster). As a modern SUV with a bit of character (compared to the rest of its segment), I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would.

Juke and pretty much Nissan's entire range (the new Leaf is a good thing however) is ancient. I reckon Nissan sits in a pretty tough spot in the market with it's range. VFACTS data looks like their passenger car sales are pretty much supported only by the X-Tail and Qashqai.

Hopefully Nissan brings out something big at Tokyo Motor Show next year for the Z-car's 50th anniversary.

They could have at least turned the front wheels to the right to make it look like it might have been capable of powersliding that corner.

  • Haha 2

40k... mmm I don't think so. That money buys you some decent second hand prformance cars. (Just checked something for everyone, hot hatch, aussie muscle, Euro coupe).
Or possibly even new ones.

I can't begin to imagine whose buying this.

    • Of course you can. That was a waste. Straight down one oil drain gallery and out the sump hole. Could at least have run the engine a little (obviously with at least minimum oil level on the stick).
    • Oh really? Maybe I'm being silly. I'll get some more shots. I had it higher but found that it went too high after a drive, I never knew this but exhausts can move around a bit when hot (makes sense, just never knew) and when it was higher it would make nice cooking plastic smells. That said, I could put some heat tape on a'la 90's R33 exhausts     Ha, I've spent a lot of my life in castle hill waiting for cars to be done. I think I'd prefer something closer but thanks D.
    • @Duncan Yes, changed filter every time. I don't have the service manual for the car yet (Car was imported and they removed everything when importing). I've been using the oil change threads in the forum as reference.   @Milkmun The second oil change was after ~4 months after the first months and I wasn't sure about reusing engine oil that was opened. The third oil change happened within 3 weeks of the second oil change and I used the previous leftover oil to just "clean up" the system. (Poured it through while the sump plug was open")
    • I left the ceramic coating off this bit, hopefully it just comes off after a few drives.   The gap between the spokes is too tight for anything on a stick, its only marginally bigger than my finger. I have to use a brush to get in there and its a big reason why I thought I'd try the coating.   Absolutely will do. I have EBC Blue Stuff pads to put on the front which will make them a bit dirtier. I'm hoping a pressure wash will just get most off. The shine is different to most, its very thin but seems very well 'attached' so hopefully it lasts.
