R32 S2 rb25det swap

Hey guys and girls I’m looking at buying a r32 sedan and the car has had a S2 Rb25det swap with rb25 box and speedo is not working. Is this a easy fix, as I am keen on buying car. Thanks James

Speedo drive must be manufactured from a Navarra speedo drive.  Has been documented on here many times.  Search it up.  Easy enough for someone who knows what they're doing.

I have read some topics and got this  - If using rb20 box, just use standard r32 speedo cable to get speedo to work fine. Otherwise use the top r32/bottom r33 sensor method to rig up rb25 box. This adapts the electronic sender to the manual cabLe. Which is fine but I don’t have clue

Search using the terms "Navara sender".....

The reason this is necessary is that the R32 speedo cable drive does not suit the RB25DET box and the RB25DET box does not come with a mechanical drive.....but the Nav uses the same basic box and did use a cable.

Yes I* have done it.  Not hard, not expensive.  Requires fabricobbling together.

*When I say "I", 'twas actually my bro'-in-law, who has done it dozens of times and I couldn't be bothered.
