Turbosmart manual boost tee locked?

Hi fellas, I recently got a tune for my R33 and noticed that the Turbosmart manual boost tee has been locked. The knob to increase the boost is locked tight. Not sure if it's broken or a lock feature has been activated? I got the older model.

Does anyone know how to unlock it?

I believe there's a grub screw you can loosen up. 

Anyhow, invest in a decent EBC. Bleed valves aren't exactly precision instruments. 

Also shameless plug time, I also have a Blitz DSBC Dual Solenoid EBC for sale lol.

Given that u didn’t know what tool to use I would guess u don’t really know what to do so I would be leaving it alone.
Also if u got a tune why are u trying to adjust the boost now?

I might leave it alone. The tuners blocked it off and I was cleaning up my engine bay a bit and noticed that the boost solenoid was blocked/locked. Will be upgrading to a EBC soon though.

The tuner will have set the boost while mapping and locked it for a reason - so the map doesn’t get screwed up and you blow your engine!

If you change to an EBC be sure to set the exact same boost level or preferably get the tuner to do it!
