New PM35 owner (and noob stereo question)

Hi all, have been lurking on here for a while in the lead-up to finding my Stagea, which I had imported at the start of the year through Ben at J-Spec. He was able to find me a 2007 350RX with the "Stylish Silver Leather" package, in 4.5 condition and only 48,000kms on the clock. Car has been an absolute dream over the past year, and is a perfect weekend family car. 

 

I'm currently looking at a quick and cheap upgrade by connecting my phone to the tv tuner aux input. Despite reading through pages and pages of threads, I very stupidly/naively thought it would be as simple as plugging a 3.5mm jack straight into the tuner box. I assume instead that I need to connect into the white 6 pin plug coming off the tuner? Where can I buy the right plug for this - will Jaycar/Supercheap/Autobarn have what I need?
