Fuel problem

When driving normally, everything is fine. But if I end up in very slow moving traffic, or at a stop light for too long my fuel gauge begins to drop. Doesn’t matter if I have a full tank, if I’m idling for too long I can watch my gauge drop down to E. As soon as I start moving again, the gauge starts to move back to the correct position.

 

Now, here’s the kicker, my car will stall as if it did run out of gas if it’s still idling past the time the fuel light comes on. This is driving me insane!
