where to wire inverter to?

hey guys looking at hookin up my ps2 so ive gotta hook up the inverter

now where abouts can i connect the power wire to - i wanna connect it to the ignition but not sure where (not interested in cig lighter)

any help would be appreciated

ur better off gettin the power straight from the ignition barrell as this will hold the most current and save u blowing fuses

I too don't suggest you take it from any existing wire because they are usually rated to a certain current. You would probably be right doing what CNBLOW said as picking up accessories from the barrel but why not use a relay?

Just run a permanent from the battery and use the ignition wire as a trigger for the relay? I'd sleep better at night if you did that for me.
