Hey all, I'm really interested in purchasing coilovers but looking for a true coilover setup in the rear, and not a seperate shock and spring setup. I know where too buy coilovers with that setup, but just can't seem too find a true coilover setup for the Nm35 stagea, if anyone knows of any please let me know it would be a great help!

Do you know if the upper (and lower, for that matter) shock mount is capable of carrying all the load that would normally and properly be carried by the top spring perch?  It's seldom the case that cars with separate springs and dampers are intended to carry the full weight of the car on the shock mounts.

I agree with Ben and gtsboy but mca does make what you are asking about for the m35. They obviously believe the mounting points are strong enough. Personally i wouldn't do it, leave the suspension design as was originally engineered by Mr Nissan.

Try searching for 350Z coilover conversion kits. They come with an arm to delete the spring perch.

I do think the strut area is strong enough to support the car, however being a wagon you probably wouldn't want to put 500kgs in the back or tow a trailer.
