Hi!

Greetings from Finland! I gotta ask help from here because your forum is more active than ours.

So my gts-t has been in pieces for five years now and getting finally back together. My problem is that there's no power for right mirror (yeah, left one works and power comes to socket), also clusters lights are dark + air conditioner panel is completely dark..Might be something else too, but these I've noticed this far.

All fuses checked and some relays.. Is there maybe same grounding point for all these or am I missing something?

Just for your delight, couple photos of my old piece of shit.

You're going to have to chase the loom with a multimeter.  There's nothing we can do to help you find the vehicle specific fault that is causing that.  It could be anything from a broken wire to a multi-pin plug not assembled correctly.  Start probing.  Use the RB20 wiring diagrams from the R32 GTR workshop manual.

On my car, rear wiper stopped working, HICAS constantly wants to kill me, ATTESA craps out randomly, window motors are slow iz (not wiring but you get what I mean). Lots to do (that's the fun of it).

While you're at it, for the love of your headlight switch, put relays on your headlight circuits (use one of the OE headlight plugs as trigger source).

Yeah, I put relays years ago and also for fuel pump. This is really the first time I've had problems with electrics.

Hopefully this diagram can help you.

From what I can decipher, both right and left mirror motors share the same power source, and so does rear wiper motor.  So if left mirror and rear wiper both work, I am going to guess it's the left/right switch not making good contact.  Just see if you can take it apart and clean the brass contact plates inside, sometimes gunk would build up on those contact points.

If that's clean and you are getting voltage there, then possibly the motors are gone.  But I think that's less unlikely because it appears to have 2 motors on each mirror, and chances are low to have both motors go bad together.

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
