Thermo Fan Activation On RB25DET NEO

So am going through my settings of  my management and trying to figure whats best suited for the fan to be activated for my engine. I got a 16" fan on a 2 core rad....

After monitoring my temp sensor reading it sits around 85c on idle. Should i activate the fan to come on at 85 or activate at 90-95 then shuts off at 80 or 85 ?

second option. Remember NEOs run hotter

I would just have it come on about 85-87 and off at 80 or so.

Doesn't matter of NEOs run hotter or not, if you're not applying any timing or fuel corrections for warm up at those temps then you can choose what operating temperature you choose.

Just remember to run a R33 thermostat instead.

I'd run them a bit hotter otherwise they will be on virtually full time.

Um....why not set it to something, and see if it runs too hot or too cold and then adjust as per normal engineering practice?

If you're using a R34 thermostat as I mentioned. I have a R33 one which opens at sub 80s instead of close to 90 as the factory NEO.

If it's a Laurel the stock fan usually works well
