where to buy?

Hi all

I want to get a a performance exhaust and some rims for my car but where in Melbourne is a good place to go as I do not really want to go to Autobahn. Prefer the eastern side of the city only as I know where I am going.

Any advice appreciated.

rims: the tyre factory. they are pretty cheap with tyres so i assume with rims also. there is one on nepean highway next to southland

i bought my rims from The Tyre Factory near Southland, good price and customer sevice but make sure your check the rims properly after the install b4 you hand over the cash...

Hi Alan,

For the exhaust, you could try Tru-Fit Mufflers in Warrigal Rd - Moorabbin.

I know a couple of other shops in the area but these guys are fairly consistent and I believe ICE Performance send exhaust work down there.

As for wheels I got a really good deal on some 16x7's for my previous car @ Bob Jane in Prahran but got my Tyres [Eagle F1's] from Good Year as I get really good prices there. Speak to Sam Nash @ Good Year in Prahran if you want to get tyres separately

i saw at the tyre factory or factory direct a set of (must of been second hand) volk racing challenge wheels (like on my car, leewahs car, nigel from ice's car) they were gold, im not into that but on the volks they looked pretty tought.

didnt get a price as i was spending money on more drum kit stuff () but you should go have a look.

its the place on victoria st richmond on the way to ikea from church st
