I am among you melb plebs yet again after a 8 hour drive yesterday and after 5 times when I hit 180 and the engine ct off... I need sum1 to snip wire 51 on my ECU! lol

While on the west gate bridge last night I saw another black R32 GTSt/GTR (couldn't tell too dark) drivin along, with stickers on the side n stuff, thought I'd pull up n wave... well they waved back, then took off... def a turbo, anyways, if they happen to read this, jus lettin ya know I saw the flash go off for the speed camera, coulda been you guys that set it off.. dunno.

Reckon they'll let us put up a couple of gazebos in the infeild?

And I can only get 1 BBQ....

WE're going to do more hunting tonight.

I got 40 cans of drink this morning, and 5 bottles of water (only 5... I ran out of money)

So people can buy them for $1 each instead of paying 'Calder prices'

24 x pepsi

10 x coke

6 x mountain dew

6 x 7up

just a quick note b4 tomorrow at calder....i havent actually met any of you guys before, cause this would be my first outing. i wont have my skyline casue dont have compliance plate yet, so will be in the berlina

is there someway i might be able to recognise all of you guys without having to go up and ask every person individualy, and make a d ick of myself?

ie: will all the lines be parked near each other at the enterence?

cheers brad :)

Yes Brad...

We'll be the ones sitting out the front of Calder in Skylines at 9:00am

I'll be wearing a grey long sleeved tee-shirt with R31 Skyline Club on it, so come and introduce yourself.

I'll also have a humungous camera, so I should be easy to recognise.

Not terribly many Skylines go to Calder, so chances are, if you see one, it's one of us :) :uh-huh:

oh yeah thats right... i will pack a spare change of clothes then

i shall be wearing my phat pants and red top then...

got a huge eski and went and brought some big bottles of water for the hot day

sweet cool guys, shall hopefully see you all bright and early sunday then(dont know about being bright though hehe)

i will most likely be in a long sleeve black tshirt with scarecrow all over it(u will understand when you see it)

cant wait cheers all :burnout:

Pity about the rain guys.... :zap:

If anyone would like to submit their times for a feature on FullBoost, then post your times, or send them to me, preferably by some time tomorrow.

If you want to submit your times, please give your first name, details of the car you were driving, 1/4 mile time and MPH.

The camera guy from FullBoost was impressed with the amount of cars running with our group, and hopefully he managed to get some pics that were better than mine!

I only had a 35mm camera, and haven't used all the film yet, so the pics won't be developed for a few weeks (until after the Whittlesea show & shine;) )

I have half an hour of video, so if anyone has a capture card, I am more than happy to give them a VHS copy of what I have so they can make videos of peoples runs.

They normally do the write ups a couple of days after the event.

The photographer didn't seem to hang around for very long..... or maybe he just went somewhere where I couldn't see him. ??

Saturdays drags have just made it onto the page, and Luke said that he doesn't get the time sheets from Calder until Tuesday, so I guess that it may be up tomorrow?

Oh and P.S, I used peoples nick names when I submitted the times to Luke, but if he uses the time sheets he gets from Calder Park, he may use the names that were given during scrutineering.

OK, I just got an email from Luke again:

Thanks Karina, I did get a few photos of some of the your cars and I'll add those time in you've sent me. Yes it was a very small meeting and I didn't stay too long. The Friday night meets usually do have some nicer air when it comes to turbo cars except you wouldn't get as many runs becasue its usually quite busy.

Regards

Luke
