if your shocks are seized, like mine were, when you "bounce" them, it feels rock hard and doesn't keep bouncing at all. but when i pulled them out it was clear that they were stuffed. now the rear end feels much better with bilsteins.

try running hicas diagnostics first though

skyhigh: HICAS will feel like you're losing traction on the back end for a second, which then re-catches itself... if that makes any sense.

Bung shocks will be all over the place any time, regardless of cornering or driving straight.

yeah i think it must be the hicas then, cause its doing what you said. when drivin on the highway if you turn the wheel just a little bit the front turns,then its as though the rear swings itself around. it feels as though im "crab walkin" when i change lanes.
