Just go for the good stuff and work down the chain to suit

your needs.. :D

I can confirm what Silver said about the Racebrake pads.

Harsh on the rotors, but when you want them to stop they

sure do.. Especially coming up to turn 2 at E.C. :eek1:

Mine squeak when i lightly apply the brakes.

Ah thanks.

Btw, anyone considering getting slotted or drilled rotors might want to consider these instead: http://www.dba.com.au/kanga_paw_design.asp

Should cool better than slotted but without the associated extra pad wear. Of course if you get the slotted kangaroo paw rotors it'd be better still. When I get replacements I'm going to get the unslotted ones to extend my pad life.

Hi There,

I now have a quick question on brake pad wear.

As I'm sure you will know the EBC brake pads have a small gap in the middle of the pad (dead centre).

The gap does not go right the way through the pad..

Only reason why I'm asking is because I checked my pads this morning and it is basically one big pad with no gap in the middle.

Does this mean they are due to be changed (as ther eis still heaps on pad left...)?

Thanks for your help.

Rob

Have run bendix ultimates on my GTR around the track on DBA slotteds and they are abysmal.

If ya don't fade em after two laps of wanneroo then your not really trying.

Ran Targa in 2000 with pagid blues in the car and worked well , even when I pulled em out after the 2nd day and they were all black and crumbly. Damn pricey tho.

Tried pagid blacks, too long to come on for a street car and absolutely killed the discs.
