R33 Spoiler

Greetings all

Trying to remove the spoiler from my R33 GTST so I can respray it and the boot lid.

I have removed the four nuts from inside the boot but the thing wont budge.

Are there more hidden nuts or is the spoiler glued on?

Any help much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it's just glue/sealant remaining.

Hello...search threads, and google images of the underside of spolier. I had the same query back in the day, and found the info that way.

They are supposed to have a formed thin rubber pad between the boot lid and the underside of the spoiler.   But these perish or get damaged so people use silastic to either help hold them together or as a 'replacement'.  This could be what has happened to yours?

Spoiler alert..there's plastic clips that need to be jerked up, then jerked off. Angled rather than straight up and down.
