9sec GTR in Brisbane?

It's road registered and ran a 9 sec pass at the winternats a couple of months ago on street legal federal tyres.

Car runs a T88-34D used to run two HKS 2540's and did 10's.

Aussie HKS GTR runs on FEDERAL ss595 STREET TYRES ONLY . Is a full weight gtr and can be seen any day of the week at BRISBANE STREET MACHINES ipswich rd Buranda. Best time for the car so far is 9.821 sec at the winternationals in june at willowbank. This now makes it the fastest true street GTR in the world,running factory 2.6lt and full weight. You're best to talk to Ricknismo on these forums, he's on the pulse when it comes to Benaraby meets, I've actually moved to Brisbane so I don't get as much of a chance to race there anymore.

Hate to say it but I agree with theo. Most of the import guys want to test and tune. Its hard to con them into bracket meets. I am hoping to run every one next year and hopefully dan too. I want to show that imports can be consistent and reliable with good times.

Theo congrats on the 9. Part of me wishes I bought that car when I looked at it a few years ago but on the other hand you have pured some major work into it to crack a 9.

By the way....28th of August is a day Bracket meet and 16th of october is a day night major.

There are a few test and tunes in between.
