R33 water in fuel and run through motor

Hi I have a 93 gtst it's got the rb25det motor my ex girlfriend decided to be spiteful and put about a litre of water in the fuel tank.

I had started it and run it for a while before a few before I worked out what she had done.

I've drained all of the fuel out of the tank change fuel filter change spark plugs anything else I should be doing?

As it's still running a little rough....

Could you describe what its doing when you say it's running rough?

Put more fuel in it and just run it. Water injection (deliberate) is a thing. It won't cause any harm.

A bottle of metho in a full tank will help dissolve any residual water into the petrol. You'll probably end up running E1 (1% ethanol) which shouldn't hurt anything.

When I say rough it's coughing and spluttering to the point where I have to try and keep the revs up or she will stall.

Have you filled the tank with fresh fuel?

Understand that the fuel pump will probably sh!t itself at some point in the future.  They don’t enjoy pumping water.

1L of water ain't gunna do that much harm.

It's got about half a tank of 98 mixed with some octane booster.

And I was thinking that the fuel pump was making a different noise when priming fuel but only lasted maybe 5-6 times then sounded normal again...
