Scotsman same here Oil cooler kit without remoter filter, with braided lines (enough to fit on drivers side front bar)

Braided Lines: Retail $650, 15% $555, 20% $520

Do we have enough for 5?

Im interested in picking one of these up also!!!!

One quick question though- I have a tiptronic 34 which has the transmission cooler sitting where I guess the oil cooler would go- does anyone know if this would pose a problem?? Ill be ordering it with a remote for it

Apologies if I should be posting this question somewhere else :D

The best place to fit it would be on the driver’s side of the front bar rather than in front of the transmission cooler. If you see the size of the oil engine cooler it would be pretty hard to squeeze it in near the transmission cooler.

Cheers Rob

As some of you know I had oil leak problems from my sandwich plate. Spoke to them and turns out that the plate had a design fault which was fixed after mine (great) so there shouldn't be any issues any more. I have a new plate so will let you know how I go.

Adam some questions :D

1. Did you just get the kit that people are using to fit the cooler in front of the radiator? and you just reloacted it to the drivers side of the front bar? without the need to get longer pipes etc??

2. The Brackets, did you make them up yourself?

3. Did you install the kit first up? or did you get the workshop to fit it??

Thanks Rob

2. The Brackets, did you make them up yourself?

RedLineGTR - You need to make these brackets up yourself, they are not part of the kit, as every car is slightly different. These cost me about $5.50 for steel and bolts. Can give advise on this if needed.

Chris any chance you can answer this question??

No Probs Mate,

Adz mounted his in the drivers side front bar. Al mounted his in front of his radiator as there was very large cooler pipes in the way. Both bought similar kits in that they were pushlock and 1.5m of hose. The only difference was Al went for 4x 45 degree fittings as we thought this would make fitting easier. Adz went with 2x 45 and 2x 90. (which is std kit)

The 45 degree fittings are slightly more than the 90's and pushed the price up slightly. You can decide which fittings would suit you best, or we will recommend which ones you go for. Straight fittings are cheapest, then 90's, then 45's.

Hope this helps

People can pay Meridian directly, but please let me make sure we have 5 confirmed before attempting to make that payment. After last time I found it was best to record everyones details on a spreadsheet including exactly what their individual requirements are and get Toby to contact you when he requires the payment. Or if people feel more confident in getting me to handle the money for them, i'm happy to do this too.
