Yeah rob what he said. The kits were measured out to give you enough hose to fit it in the front bar. I fitted it in the gargae at my place and just used some aluminium to make up the brackets. Mine is the standard GTS kit.

Nope....

Have got 3 pm's for definate's. If you speak to or can speak to any of the other interested parties please do, as the track day will sneak up on us quicker than you expect and we should get this moving.

If there is anyone else please PM me ASAP.

Toby has advised that he will have all the parts for everyones kit by Monday.

He has told me to pass on that the $440 price will include 2x Straight Fittings and 2x 90 Degree fittings, a cooler, billet adapter, and 2.5m of hose.

I think that the 2x 90 will go on the cooler if mounting in front bar and the 2x0 can come out of the block providing nothing is in the way. If you think you will require 2x45 instead of 2x0 for this then the price will increase slightly.

Al found that the 4x45's were the way to go for mounting in front of radiator. But people can feel free to make up their own minds about what fittings they require and Toby will adjust the price accordingly.

I think that the straight fittings will suit most people. But you should have a look at your own engine bay and decide.

Dumb arse question from the guy from the back:

When i do an oil change, how do I ensure that

1. the cooler is drained of oil?

2. the cooler fills back with correct quantity of oil once I have changed the oil?

:P

Will let you guys know as soon as Toby is ready to go. I want to confirm everything with him before getting money in case there is any slight price change.

When I change my oil I will have to disconnect the cooler and turn it upside down to empty it of oil. But I wasn't going to bother too much. I change mine quite often anyway. There is no prolem with mounting the cooler upside down, which would make empting easier. But then filling it up on startup after the oil change would be harder work for your engine. When putting the kit together I would recommend filling the core with oil before connecting the hoses to help eliminate any surge issues. But two seconds after your car starts the cooler will be full and will stay full all the time, unless it's mounted above the oil level. In the case of mounting it in front of radiator it may get some drain back over time.

Which ever way you decide to mount it will work fine. After installing a cooler I'd say wait a lot longer before driving off once the car is started to make sure oil pressure is up. Dont just start and go staight away.

Ok Toby has all the parts required to make all the kits.

If anyone needs to change to 2x45 degree fittings over the original kits straight fittings there is an additional $46 cost

Ronin09 and GTTR34 - Please contact Toby directly to arrange payment ([email protected], 03 9553 4200.)

INASNT, Daz and Croat you have PM regarding payment.

Spoke to Toby yesterday, my car is being fitted up on Friday :)

Cheers Chris

EDIT - cooler fitted... bit*h of a job apparently.

32GTRs suck to fit anything to!

Haven't given it a cane yet, but will do on weekend

What does the probe look like? Might be hard to get it in cause all the fittings are designed to be very tight. It would be worth while speaking to toby about that. I'd say he would have some good sugestions.
