Hi all, I am a newbie who has just purchased a nissan skyline GT 370 SP coupe. With starting the staged build, I am looking to increase air intake with AAM competition cold air intake combined with the AAM COMPETITION VQ37 PERFORMANCE INTAKE MANIFOLD.

Does anyone have any experience with this combination to share? Your thoughts and suggestions would be helpful.

Next stages for the project will be Motordyne manifold and full exhaust - going all in!

I have a vq35hr, and found the stock intakes and stock cats to be the pretty restrictive. Changing these out (along with the cat back) made a noticeable difference for me.

The intake manifold you're looking at (which I haven't used) aren't cheap, and I'd imagine they offer most benefit on forced induction applications (I read it's rated for up to 2500hp).

Z1 Motorsports offer a modified stock intake manifold for the VQ37 on their website at a fraction of the price - worth a suss imo

Ae yu in Australia? That would make that manifold around 4000 with gst and shipping, then you will get stung with duty etc.

that is a completely mental amount of money to spend for what will be negligible gains..
