yeah...you do need to be careful, especially with GTRs. A friend of mine recently went to have a look at a GTR which the owner had assured him was in original showroom condition.

Upon inspection, he discovered that this was far from the truth. The car had been resprayed in a non factory colour, it had dodgy fibreglass bonnet and bumper, it had platic undertrays and other bits and pieces missing.

Luckily my friend picked up on these things...I feel sorry for other people who aren't so lucky...

Mik, you know that it was my car that your talking about, and that it was considered to be the best GTR for $30k in OZ. But when someone offers $25k for a genuine GTR they deserve to be ripped off for paying $34k for a GTS-4.

The car was in magnificent condition and having a few extras enhances a car and doesnt mean it is not in showroom condition.

Everyone that saw my car thought it was worth the money, but the big turn off was the 85k on the clock.

Plus remember they could see my car on the net before they came.

NO Im sorry but a mint condition R33 GTR is worth more than $25k
