[R34 GTR] Alternative reference/parts for rear CV joint trim

Hello,

I'm looking for alternative part of the rear CV joint trim ? C9GDA17V86 (3974117V86) and  C9BDA17V87 (3924117V87)

Because the OEM reference are quite rare and so not cheap at all !

(I found alternative parts for the front CV joint trim but nothing for the rear...I even try to look for the R32 and R33 without any luck; I made the assumption they were identicals)

If anyone has some hints ?

Just walk into a CV joint repair workshop (I can think of 3 within a 20 minute drive of where I live) and ask them to source some. They will have documentation to tell them what the critical dimensions of the R34 ones are, and can cross reference with off-brand boots. (By the way, these are called CV joint boots, not trims). And don't just buy the cheapest. Good boots are thick and rubbery. The cheap ones split quickly.

I do not understand. Walk in and purchase tomorrow. Receive part in hand. Faster than on-line overnight parts from Japan sik yo!

Well in my area, they will not bother help me to find a compatible reference...they will asked to find by myself and then they can order.

Anyway that wasn't the point of my question; it looks like I will need to look by myself when I will disassemble the CV.

What the f**k sort of useless arseholes do you have in your area? If the motor trade acted like that here their shops would get burnt down.
