Hello All,

Probably a stupid question but I can't find any relevant info anywhere.

I saw a thread about a guy having similar problems and he removed the plug base (which has 4 screws) which revealed dry joints.

This made sense to me and he shows pics but here is my drama - when I pulled the plug base off the plug terminals were desoldered from the afm pins (doh). To resolder I have to remove the top of the afm but there are no screws only a silicon type bead? Does this mean to remove the top I won't get it back on?

I can't believe there is nothing on here about this - any help would be much appreciated!
