Tial Sport Q with RB25

My setup is gonna be a GT3076r shooting for above 400hp and I wanna run a Tial Sport Q 50mm BOV. Is 50mm gonna be too much. I don't have that much knowledge when it comes to BOV's.

More important than the size of the bov is what ecu you plan to use?

He's American, judging by the 240SX.

Anything that makes the biggest whoosh or high pitched sound will be best. I suggest HKS SSQV

Its rated for "up to 1,800hp" so should be adequate for your needs. Then again some people run no BOV....

But he's American, no BOV = blown motor and exploding birds.

Above 400hp?  So an external wastegate setup?  if so, I'd be asking about your mani, wastegate type and spring rate way before a BOV.

I'd also save my $$$ [spend it on real improvements] and stick with the standard Nissan BOV.

They don't like big boost, tried pushing 1.5bar into one it cracks open so deleted it.

But he's American, they believe if you don't run a BOV your motor and turbo will explode.

Ok, well depends on the interpretation of big boost I guess.  I have a std BOV with a different spring setup [so long ago I can't remember what spring I used, but it was changed, I remember doing the maths for it and the WG spring back then] and its working fine.
