R32 GTR Nismo Boot Lip

Hi All, 

Anyone know how to tell if the Nismo (also referred to as N1) Bootlips are genuine?

Looking at buying a second hand one but seller is not 100% if it is genuine. He said it is made of Rubber (the ABS rubber) and has provisions for studs to fix down, which makes me think it is genuine. 

If anyone has come across them before, let me know your thoughts.

Do you have any photos of the unit that your looking at buying?

I've seen aftermarket bootlips with removeable studs.

ABS is not rubber. ABS is a hardish plastic like PVC.

Anything that is rubber with studs will very likely be genuine.

It's date stamped 1990. The chances of that not being genuine are what? Zero? Less than zero?

It looks sufficiently warped and or distorted to be genuine.  Most of them end up stuffed which is why people go for a reproduction part.

Looks genuine to me, even with the free rust as they usually rust from the inside out.
