[Closed] R32 Build from shell - What to be careful of ?

Hey everyone,

I was heavily considering buying a r32 shell (2k ish) and refurbishing it with a rb20de and such. 

What are some things I need to be careful of when buying a shell.

Id be building It to be P plate legal.

I'm more thinking about the replies talking about the bulk $$$ needed to build a car from a bare shell, only to be a p plater car.

That's the usual...

and by the time you have finished you'll be off your P plates anyway!

Depends how much work and how hands on you are.

"Shell" can mean a lot of different things, from bare (metal with paint) to everything except and engine. Finding things it doesn't come in can end up mega expensive depending on how many things are missing (wiring looms, brake lines, brakes, dash, interior trims, seals, seats, belts etc etc)

I think it's going to be a tough journey

Back when i was at uni i could only dream of owning the cars this guy does. uni must be complety different to what it is in the UK!

nah hes from WA, that wasnt my point though. Im british and went to uni in the UK and couldnt afford a car at all. this lad does full builds whilst at uni here in Australia. Thats what baffles me...
