Cool with me.

Should have my suspension detuned by then.

I am totally sick of race track suspension & am getting

the R34 fixed so it rides a bit better.

Had a great cruise with the pulsar guys & gals on Sunday.

Went down to Victor again(28 cars) then back via Normanville.

The back way on Range road is awesome.Stayed with the pack

for a good while, then Wade(M3) & I hammered through the 95km

sweepers at the top doing almost double that! Sick road.

Dyno day was great (SS ute made 235rwkw!!!) but sad to miss

Keir's 9.74 @ 144mph pass at the test & tune.

SA takes back the Fastest GTR title from Mario - Alright.:uh-huh:

Can't wait to get my Holinger & race him. Will need a bit of practice

though, as only driven it 3 times this year!:)

Great to see so many Skylines at the dyno day.

Where are all the GTRs???

Cheers.

Hey, it's the same weekend as the Extreme Auto Show!

Yeah, I be there, if any other commitments don't pop up! Was looking to go this weekend, which is to be fine weather. :)

Hey Munro, you sure did disappear from the cruise group on Range Rd, so I thought leave the mob and try and catch up, fun, heh heh! :burnout: Had a fast drift midway to Normanville, forgot to read the speed advise sign!

Graham

What are you doing to detune your suspension. Who's doing the fitting and alignment. Also have you got any old race seats lying around that will bolt into a R33 GTS-T. I have a track day and need to lower the seat to fit a Helmet on. If not I will see Mark and see what he can sugest.

G'day Grepin,

Manta Racing Services at Richmond is fixing the R34.I use Steve

Cramp to do all my suspension work as he has lots of experience

with circuit racing(he is a racer himself), & he also rebuilds my

gearboxs & diffs. He is revalving the Bilsteins & fitting softer rate

springs so it rides better & has more mechanical grip on bumpy

roads.(which I allways seem to be driving on!)

The only spare seats I have are std GTSt ones which you already

have.A GTR seat would be perfect as they sit a lot lower.Mark maybe able to help.

Have fun at the track.Dont do too many laps in one go or you will

hurt your car.

Regards,

Munro.:)

The cruise is on the same weekend as the extreme horsepower weekend. If we go on a cruise how about going to the show as a group after the cruise saturday arvo. Will look gook if we all show up and park together?? any ideas suggestions?

Sounds like a good Idea to me Matt, but depends on when the show is open to and when we get back, last time we finised the cruise fairly late in the afternoon.

John are you able to organise a route for the cruise ?, you are the man in the know when it comes to the best hills roads to follow.

I was thinking we could meet again at Ingall Farm, as there seems to be plenty of room for everyone to park at that time of day.

Hey guys,

Both of my GTRs will be in the show on the Morpowa stand, but

I'm happy to take one of my other cars on a cruise.Afternoon sounds good. If short cruise then go to show afterwards a Hills cruise following last route to birdwood etc?

Or we could do the awesome victor lap on Sat & leave the show

till Sunday. I'm pretty casual either way.Depends on numbers.

When is the extreme horsepower cruise this weekend?

Greg,

Last yrs top runners made ~400 to 500rwhp on a very hot steamy day (38'c).

There was an old original race XB (I think it was an XB?) that looked rough as guts. It still had the race stickers from yrs ago on it, faded to buggery of course. This thing had a twin turboed 351 in it! It topped the comp'.

G'day,

My R33 has no gearbox in it so I wont be dynoing it!

Keir's car makes 545 rwkw (not hp) so he will clean up if he takes

it.I wont be suprised if he doesn't though. Why wear out such an

expensive engine on a dyno shootout?I think a time card is much

more value, & you get to "feel" the power.

The R33 GTR rims have been polished & the Nittos should be here

soon, but even though they would look great on the car for the show, I'll leave the R34 rims on it & keep the Nittos fresh for the drags.New cogs have arrived for the Trust 6 speed, so hopefully

I can sell it before the Holinger is ready!New driveshafts are nearly ready & everything is looking good for a mid december run.

So whats happening with the cruise on Sat 2nd?:uh-huh:

Commercial Metal Polishers at Ryans Rd Greenfields (just off Pt.Wakefield Rd near Joes Golden Gasolines). Gino is the guy to see, he does a really good job.Cost - $600. Not cheap, but done properly a Jap wheel polished stays good for ages due to the high magnesium content in them. Just saw Dannys blue drift 180SX today with polished R34 GTR wheels on it.Looks great.Mad looking wheels when polished.

So - what is everyones verdict for next weekend.I'd prefer an afternoon cruise on Saturday, then check out the show afterwards. Who else would be interested in Kmart Ingle farm @ 1.00pm & same route as last time(williamstown, birdwood etc.)

Could end up at the Show around 3 ish then whatever after that.

Went in Keir's RH9 GTR today - woohoo, Cool car.

:uh-huh: :uh-huh: :uh-huh: :uh-huh: :uh-huh: :uh-huh: :uh-huh:
