FWD block VERY unlikely to have the same mounting positions cast into it as the RWD. Gearbox/starter quite possibly different too.

I would not attempt it if I had to go and buy it, unless it was only $100.

 

Question. Why is low comp on a single cylinder unfixable in Poland? It should be easy enough to get pistons, rings, valves, etc there, the same as anywhere else. Are you saying that there is no-one competent to repair engines in Poland? Or are you suggesting that the existing block is f**ked?
