r32 skyline idle super high

ive just converted my r32 automatic skyline to a manual (rb25det box), The car originally had an rb20det motor and now is an rb25de, It idles at 2000rpm and ive tried everything to change it but one thing i never changed was the ECU, Can i just put an r32 manual ecu in it and will it idle and run a heap better?

Yeah but im wondering if the thing idling at 2000rpm has to do with because the ecu is auto

And the ecu is for an auto turbo 2 litre.

I really hate guessing. What have you tried? Idle screw? Iac valve? Vac leak check?

Have you fixed the vacuum leak?

Replaced idle control valve tried to set it lower too, Replaced maf, Swapped temp sensors. Is there an easy way for checking for vacuum leaks or just do the soapy water

Spray carby cleaner at possible leak spots. If the idle drops, you found a leak.

You can also pressure test the intake tract (up to the TB anyway).
