Advice re Porsche audio upgrade

I know nothing about audio/ sound and am looking to upgrade system in a Porsche 911 ( 996) 2991 Carrera 4 Coupé so looking for any advice on where to start. No need for GPS but wanting Apple Play. Have been quoted on Audison Prima splits but no idea about quality or how they compare to other brands. And which amp etc should I consider ?

I'm assuming since it's old Porsche, you can bung in any single DIN head unit. As for brands, there are so many out there, I suggest you look for what's available locally. Also figure out your budget first.
