Hi everyone, haven't been able to find anything on this yet. I have an 03 V35 MT Coupe. I had an issue come up randomly where the Park lights and tail lights are permanently on unless I remove the battery.

- the brake light switch under the pedal is not the issue, the brake light is not on, just the tail light

- they stay on regardless of headlight position being in auto, on, off etc.

- I have pulled all the relays/fuses and nothing seemed to fix the problem

It doesn't seem to be affecting anything else, but it's frustrating to have to disconnect the battery every time. The only suggestion I've found is to replace the BCM which seems a bit extreme for this. Any other thoughts would be hugely appreciated!

If these cars run a BCM, then that is where the action to run any given such light is actually performed. The light switch is an input to the BCM and the BCM is essentially a glorified relay. If the BCM's output to the parker circuits is stuck on.....then the fault is in the BCM, no?

I hope that's not the case but I'll keep it as a backup thanks!
