Hy guys!

I created this account 5 years ago when I was looking at getting a skyline, but for some reason never posted.

I'm actually in New South Wales, but I essentially live in the middle of nowhere and I work/shop/do everything I have to in Canberra

I picked up my new baby yesterday! There are some minor things that need attention, but all in all she's pretty tidy for a 28 year old GTST. It does have an RB25det in it too.

Also in the picture, my daily driver Navara.

Keen to get back into the import life, it's been a hot minute.

Welcome! Also from Canberra and have a 34 GTT, hopefully see you out one night! I got to the occasional boosters meet. They are always a bit of fun. Also compete in the hill climb and head to Wakefield a bit, not sure if you’re interested but it’s a bit of fun!

Cheers! I joined the Boosters Facebook page not too long ago. Seems like a decent amount of hot hatch enthusiasts too.

No overly keen on tracking, but the hill climb could be bulk fun.

Welcome!

Any more pics of the 32? It looks nice, what plans do you have?

I havnt actually taken any more of it! Yet. It definitely presents better in photos than it does in person.

Plans are to fix what needs tidying and keep it as a nice streeter. Might wind up the boost a touch though.

Welcome :) Where abouts in the  middle of nowhere?....hopefully the skyline is good for wombat dodging....

Just outside of Bredbo. It looks like I won't be driving it at night any time soon anyway.

Welcome, so I'm guessing your from near michelago way?

I'm down in berridale, and have seen a white 33 getting around jindabyne, so you're definitely not alone.

Hopefully will see you out and about.

Yeah, I am.
I've seen the white 33 floating around Jindy and I also see a really nice black one occasionally in Cooma. It's nice not being alone!

I should be getting the car back from the Import Mechanical guys at some stage over the next couple of weeks, and was intending to go to the Boosters All Club show/meet up in December.

    • Excuse me for butting in....but which part of ADHD can be considered a superpower? I would have though it far more likely that some ASD comorbidity is more likely to be contributing to an ability to hyperfocus on something. ADHD being aimed somewhat in the other direction. My shed looks like your shed. My whiteboard list of unfinished projects has entries going back 15 years. I know what you're talking about - I just struggle to connect ADHD to the results being discussed.
    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
