BK Posted November 13, 2020 Share Posted November 13, 2020 Or you could measure it yourself and know exactly what it is ? Heard of a threadfile ? You'll be able to tell what pitch it is and clean it up with that. Thank you for your advice. as for a thread file, I tried to fix it with a normal one to get the nut back on and did not go to plan. If i cant fix it with a tap and die set i will most likely have to get a new axel. Use the verniers to measure the distance between, say, 5 threads, then divide that number by, say, 5.
