MayhemVC
I have a 2002 NM35 Stagea which I have used as a daily driver for about 4 years now. The car is great but recently it has been starting sluggishly when warm. When the engine is cold it starts well, first time every time. When the engine is warm is starts sluggishly, usually requires two starts and smells 'rich'. The only thing I can equate it to is that it's like trying to start a car with a flooded carby. My regular mechanic is great but cant seem to fix the issue. Can anyone recommend a mechanic/tune shop in Brisbane that might be able to help out? Not looking for huge performance increases, just to sort out what could be an air/fuel mix issue. E33
It sounds that you should be asking which mechanic to take it to A tune up will not fix this issue Something has changed - bad temperature sensor ? Any check engine lights ? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/481650-recommendations-for-engine-tune-brisbane/#findComment-7944495 Share on other sites
MayhemVC
Yeah could be a sensor. No warning lights, the car runs great once it gets started. Just rough starting and only when the engine is warm.
