Conflicting information need hands on experience

Rb25det neo, as I've finished procuring the pieces for the bottom end refresh it's time for me to start looking at components to refresh and build up the head. 

I'm looking into top mount turbo manifolds I'm finding several that state will not fit neo applications. 

I'm curious as to the validity of these statements. As far as I knew the intake was the only side that mattered when in came down to the clearance between the neo and s1 or s2 heads. 

Searching has led me to believe their is no reason one for the s1 or s2 wont fit on the neo but with manufacturers stating they wont fit I'm in a pickle and looking for clarification.
