Hey all,

I just finished installing all new exhaust/turbo gaskets on my 95 gtst, got the manifold machined as it was blowing gaskets and a few minutes after starting the car up I start to see some white smoke coming from what looks like the connection for the turbo to the downpipe, decided to give it 1 rev to see if it would pour more smoke out and it definetly increased the amount of smoke coming out, any thoughts?

once its cooled down I'm gonna check the banjo bolts are tight and check if the head gasket is blown.
I ordered a new cat and gaskets for the cat but at the moment the cat has no gaskets, do you think this could cause promblems with the turbo smoking?

Much more likely something like the turbo drain is kinked or blocked, probably just pushing oil past the turbo seals.

No gasket in the exhaust will definitely not cause white smoke. white is generally either water vapour or oil burning
