Buying parts from Japanese Auction sites

Has anyone purchased parts from auctions websites like Yahoo Auctions before? And if so, did you how the process work exactly in terms of shipping etc.? Or is there a company that handles the shipping?

Sorry for the string of questions, I am very new to this.

I think a few companies offer the service, you need pay in yen and have a japanese shipping address so you need a freight forwarder/broker. I use Jesse Streeter as he can also check non auction sources, and I think Import Monster have an english-ish website for yahoo

zenmarket has worked for me(tm) for dozens of things. After you use them a lot they give you a line of credit. A lot of things are blocked by default but unblock request is fast.

You can combine/repack items, remove documentation, their fees are low but beware how you fund your account because of fx or credit card fees. DHL has been super fast from Japan as well. Like, days.

Zenmarket for sure, I rate them 👍, Buy direct off Yahoo Japan with them and cut out the broker costs like everyone else uses, and get it shipped directly.

You can get a lot of stuff you won't find locally - get on it !
