Hi Guys been on this website for a while and has been a great help! Having a fitment issue with a car of my own I was hoping someone could shed some light on. Car is RB25 NEO Auto, pedals, master cylinder etc all fitted and looking good, have a R33 gearbox (we bought secondhand so unknown if anything has been changed with it) auto stuff has been all removed, new spigot fitted to crank, new driftworks lightened flywheel for RB series, (apparently all the same), new ACT paddle clutch for R33, new fork and release bearing and slave cylinder. But with all parts fitted the gearbox will not go flush with the engine, if pulled slightly tight with bolts the gearbox input shaft won't spin. Searched many forms etc and all parts we have are correct as far as I'm aware. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks 

Hey guys sorry only seeing this now been hectic at work, yeah proper clutch alignment tool has been used, and we have 2 skyline spacer plates as we thought we thought that was the issue but no better. Really at a loss with this now lol have tried a shorter pivot ball for the release bearing as we thought it was hitting the pressure plate to early and not allowing gearbox to go flush but again no joy.

You probably knew this but just in case:

Did you remove the considerably larger spigot that supports the turbine from the crank first? If not, I would not be surprised if that would give you headaches.

Hey tsuokun, thanks for the reply, yeah we had removed that collar/spigot from the centre of the crank was one of the first things we done, was a pain in the ass to remove but yeah it's gone but still no joy? May be a silly question but is there different depths of clutch plate or anything etc? Can't imagine so but it seems that the gearbox input shaft plate with the sleeve for the release bearing to slide on seems to hit the friction plate of the clutch not allowing it to go flush? From what we can kinda of see with marks and a paint pen anyway, but again no real way of seeing what is stopping when the gearbox is almost on. Thanks
