Passenger Door not closing all the way

Passengers side door only closes if you hit it hard.If you close normal it will catch but stay loose. 

anyone have this issue?

I've adjusted the drivers side hinges and it shuts easily. I'm thinking maybe the lock mechanism is worn out. But comparing to the drivers side it acts the same

Have you checked for play in the hinges?

@r32-25t Yes the door hits the strike plate as it should. Does it with window down or up.

The way to test for hinge bushing wear is to open the door, then try lifting the door. If there is non-trivial free play you're going to experience issues like this. Usually it's the driver side door that has this issue though.

I'll check that again  

The driver door has been adjusted already and closes smoothly.  Passengers lines up well it just doesn't catch on the post

Someone did a dori-dori-oopsie then fixed the car up and put it through auctions, before you got hold of it?

I believe so. That door is original but seems to have been messed with
