Turbo Fitting Help

The direct replacement is not that direct.

My issue is the coolant intake on the original is bigger than the opening for the new one.

So I need to go from a hardline ,5/16, to the braided threads , 9/16- 18.

 

Any ideas?

I would redo the entire line instead of having a union in-between two different lines. You can purchase this online or any hydraulic supplier. If you prefer to keep your lines, purchase a 5/16 tube to 9/16-18 male compression fitting.

You can just use some coolant hose from the hardline to the barb fitting.

I want to replace every inch of line I can as 30 years takes it toll. But I can't get behind the block,  between the firewall and the engine to disconnect them.
