Just got my car on the road and finally fixed boosting issues. I have a old style garret a/r 70 top mount. And im just wondering is 18psi in high engine load bad or damaging to stock intervals?

Obiously i took of the air filter to take this photo

Slghtly longer answer, it can be fine, but there is soooooo many things you need to consider other than "18psi" as "18psi" really isn't so much a setting, as it is a byproduct of the rest of the setup which is comprised of extremely critical things, all of which can change the answer between "OK" and "Very not OK"

Realistically, no matter what, no matter what setup you burn the candle faster with more power than you do with less power.

Hi Boost does not always make hi power unless you like melting things

Lots of people make lots of power with 15psi and you will still get the big pisssssh sound when you lift off the thunder stick

No, I ran 1.65bar through the motor for 1.5 years before it exploded with a Hypergear ATR43SS2 turbo - and this is with track use.

I suspect if it was for street use for going to Maccas carparks, car washes, etc. it would still be alive.
