Japan bogans?

I didn't notice this in my stay (country town) but would you say that there is a culture for jap "bogans" to go down to the local car park for some ringies or is this more of an aussie thing?

The "Yanki" is the Japanese equivalent to the Bogan... and they don't do burnouts in the cities so much - although I'm sure they do - rather just rev the crap out of their engines with open exhausts, and turn the volume up on their 300 db stero installs in their VIP Celsiors, HiAce vans etc. Just being a general "noise" nuisance, rather than doing burnouts.

there's mullets galore in japan, but a 'bogan' here is more likely to be sporting a sideways cap (or a white towel bandana) than a 'business at the front, party at the back' cut

I was in umeda one nite and saw a couple of those box mini vans (kei cars??) cruising with their rear boot door open, dooffing their neon subbies. i liked it....id prefer seeing those than the local holden filled with idiots hangin out the windows doofing on chapel st.
