sonic99
I’m considering buying a small paint brush and some black paint from cheap as chips and touching up the grill. Does this sound reasonable or is there a better (but still cheap) way? GTSBoy
Spray paint stripper. Work to remove paint. Prime it properly. Then spray paint it properly. The money paid to a proper paint shop to do it is going to be worth it if your DIY tendencies trend towards using a brush to paint it!!! 1 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/483214-how-do-i-touch-up-the-grill-cheaply/#findComment-7960005 Share on other sites

niZmO_Man
Buy a new Nismo grill for $3,000 USD instead I'd hit it with plasti-dip as it's easier/lazier way of doing it. Also be careful not to break any mounting bits as the plastic will be old and fragile. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/483214-how-do-i-touch-up-the-grill-cheaply/#findComment-7960036 Share on other sites

I'd avoid brushes as it leaves streak marks. rattle can should do the job. i recommend matte over gloss as it retains a low sheen for much longer.
